About Saunters

An historic woodland setting provides the perfect backdrop for this striking house, designed by the then Derbyshire County Architect Roy Geall in 1980.

In sympathy with the surrounding landscape, Saunters was designed to bring the outside in fully recognising that our climate is not always predictable! Blending Scandinavian design cues through the use of a Glulam structure with high levels of insulation, traditional Derbyshire gritstone walls and natural slate roof, the house provides a unique, delightful and comfortable place of residence from which to enjoy every moment of your stay.

Take a look around our site to find out more about the accommodation and amenities in the surrounding area, and get in touch if there’s anything else we can help you with. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
